This is the last of the Fracture series I came up with in recent years. It merges the bold colors of fauvism, the subject matter of futurism (machines, buildings and bridges) and of course Cubism, invented by Picasso and Braques. Here I took a pretty but static scene and created a feeling of movement as the various ships sailed under the bridge. They were totally imaginary, and the reason why sometimes painting is like creating your own world.
